Chris
Raschka is a painter of feelings, a listener to
the heart's sound. He has written and illustrated many
distinct, award-winning books including the Caldecott
Honor Book,
Yo! Yes! (one of School Library Journal's 100 Books
That Shaped the Century) and its sequel, Ring! Yo!;
Charlie Parker Played Be Bop, Can't Sleep, Like
Likes Like, The Blushful Hippopotamus, and Mysterious
Thelonious (a New York Times Best Illustrated Book
of the Year) and Waffle. He currently lives in
New York City with his wife and young son. |
