About The Author

Edith Pearlman, author of Honeydew, has published more than 250 works of short fiction and nonfiction, along with four other story collections. Her previous collection, Binocular Vision, is the only book ever to have been nominated for the National Book Award, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the Story Prize, and the National Book Critics Circle Award, which Pearlman won. She has also received the PEN/Malamud Award for excellence in the short story, and her work has been reprinted numerous times in The Best American Short Stories, The O. Henry Prize Stories, and The Pushcart Prize series. Pearlman lives with her husband in Brookline, Massachusetts.
