Getting Your Family Involved

Celebrating National Book Month starts at home. Curl up with your family and a good book, and commemorate America's annual celebration of writers and readers. You can also help other families celebrate National Book Month with your suggestions and ideas on How to Get Your Family Involved. Some ideas:

>> Introduce literature into family game night.
     &nbsp&nbsp "Charades" with book titles, "Name That Book", or "Win, Lose, or        &nbspDraw." It's a little variation on some old favorites.

>> Family trips to the local library
      &nbsp Everyone in the family must check out at least one book.

>> Family Reading Night
       &nbspSet aside one night a week to read and discuss a book.

>> Recreate scenes from your favorite books.

>> Read to your children.
