Lesa-Cline
Ransome engaged pre-kindergartens by reading sections
of her book Quilt Counting and Quilt Alphabet,
which were illustrated with bright colors. During her
reading, Ms. Cline-Ransome addressed the subjects of
counting, numbers, shapes, and words. The participants
interacted by counting their numbers from 1 to 10 and
10 to 1, and by saying their alphabets.
SeaStar of North-South Books offered
books at a discount, which were donated by the Foundation
to participants.
