We are now accepting entries for the 2023 National Book Awards. Deadline for submission is May 17 (5:00pm PT). No late submissions will be accepted.

NOTE: There is a $135 entry fee for each title submitted. Accepted forms of payment include credit card and ACH. Please be prepared with payment information before you begin the online submission process.
It is imperative that you read the Eligibility section of the Deadlines & Guidelines page carefully to make sure the books you are submitting are eligible for the 2023 National Book Awards. Submitted books later deemed ineligible by the Foundation will still be subject to the $135 per title fee. There will be no refunds.
