Delali Adjoa was born in Togo to Ghanaian parents but grew up in Canada. She writes fiction centered on identity, freedom, and family, and loves the American South for the stories it has buried. Her debut novel The Free Verse Society is an Indies Introduce and Indie Next List pick by the American Booksellers Association. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Georgetown University and currently lives near Atlanta.
