Full Bio

Jenny Xie

Jenny Xie was born in Anhui, China, and resides in New York City. She is the author of The Rupture Tense and Eye Level, which was a Finalist for the National Book Award and recipient of the Academy of American Poets’ Walt Whitman Award and the Holmes National Poetry Prize. Her chapbook, Nowhere to Arrive, received the Drinking Gourd Prize. She has taught at Princeton University and NYU and is currently on faculty at Bard College.
