Jos Charles is a trans poet, editor, and author of feeld, a winner of the 2017 National Poetry Series, selected by Fady Joudah, and Safe Space, a finalist for the 2016 Lambda Literary Award for Transgender Poetry. Her poetry and writing have appeared in Poetry, PEN, Washington Square Review, Denver Quarterly, GLAAD, Action Yes, Lambda Literary Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2016 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship and the 2015 Monique Wittig Writer’s Scholarship. She is a PhD student at UC Irvine and currently resides in Long Beach, CA.
