Joungmin Lee Comfort is a Korean-English translator based in the US. In 2016, she received a translation grant from the Literary Translation Institute of Korea, which began her career in literary translation. In 2017, she was awarded the American Literary Translators Association Emerging Translator Mentorship program. Her translations have appeared in Clarkesworld, a children’s book publication, and academic journals.
