Katharine Coles has released ten collection of poems, including Time and Chance and Ghost Apples. She has also published a collection of essays, The Stranger I Become: On Walking, Looking, and Writing; a memoir, Look Both Ways; and two novels. A Distinguished Professor at the University of Utah, she has received grants and awards from the Guggenheim Foundation, the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists and Writer Program, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
