Lana Lin is a writer, artist, and filmmaker based in New York and Connecticut. She is the author of Freud’s Jaw and Other Lost Objects: Fractured Subjectivity in the Face of Cancer. Her films include The Cancer Journals Revisited and Stranger Baby. Her various works and collaborative mixed media projects with Lan Thao Lam as “Lin + Lam” have been exhibited at festivals and art and educational spaces throughout the world. A recipient of fellowships from New York State Council on the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, Civitella Ranieri Foundation, and four MacDowell residencies since 1996, she is an Associate Professor of Media Studies at The New School.
