The Leadership Circle is a national society of generous individuals and family foundations who support the National Book Foundation with annual gifts of $2,500 and above. Many members also become strategic partners helping to guide and inform our work.

Leadership Circle members are invited to participate in special events held throughout the year that feature distinguished authors, go deeper into the books and people celebrated through our award programs, and explore strategic questions related to the National Book Foundation’s vision of building a nation of readers.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact Meg Tansey, Director of Development, at mtansey@nationalbook.org.

The National Book Foundation’s Leadership Circle includes individuals, families, donor-advised funds, and family foundations who provide generous support for the National Book Foundation with gifts of $2,500 or more during a single fiscal year (May 1 – April 30), including matching funds generated by a donor’s initial gifts.
